The Early Morning Symphony

Four a.m., my enemy greets me,

Mosquito choir buzzing with glee.

“Karee, karee,” their wings do sing,

While I rub my eyes, cursing everything.

Books open wide, my brain stays shut,

Exam prep feels like a never-ending rut.

The rooster crows, I groan in despair,

Dreams of sleep vanish into thin air.

Oh, glorious sun, please rise soon,

Save me from this torturous tune.
